The back bone of the reef, Acropora corals come in hundreds of different species from all over the world. The variation in color within species presents hundreds of more types that can are kept and collected by many reefers. Acropora corals demand high lighting to sustain themselves and grow. Acropora also require high flow to help with respiration and to clear their stony body of detritus and excess mucus. All of our acropora corals are kept at a dKH of 9, Calcium concentration of 390-410 ppm, pH of 8.1-8.3, NO3 of 1-5ppm, and PO4 of .05 ppm.
